Krista Wander is an actress from Buffalo, NY,  known for her animated facial expressions, strong work ethic, and bubbly personality! With her most recent director remarking, "Krista's face strikes again" and past company managers reviewing her work as "energetic, organized, forward-thinking, talented, positive, and joyful!"

 

She has a wide vocal range spanning over 4 octaves with a strong tenor base and a secret soprano side. In addition to her vast vocal range, Krista has an equally expansive acting resume, portraying young, old, kind, and villainous characters.

 

Krista has been dancing since the age of 4- studying tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical, Irish, pointe, and hip-hop in a sudio setting. Once entering her theatre performance BFA program, she continues dancing at Niagara University- while gaining minors is dance as well as  theatrical design and production.

 

Immediately after graduation, Krista began performing at Hersheypark and touring with the National Theatre for Children for three consecutive contracts! She then worked with the Dakota players, performing and directing musicals with rural communities of the Midwest. Following this, Krista worked toured twice with the REV Theatre Company- sharing classic stories like Alice in Wonderland with New York students. Most recently, Krista toured Italy, performing four musicals in rep for children acress the country!

In Krista's spare time, she can be found at the nearest thrift store, greasy spoon restaurant, picking wildflowers, listening to vinyl records, dreaming of New York City or making repurposed art.
